TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry / claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.
- 1. THE PROMOTER
TOPPS Trading cards, 18 Vincent Ave, Crownhill, Milton Keynes MK8 0AW.
- 2. ELIGIBILITY
This competition is open to residents of the UK (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) who are aged 6-14 years only. If you or your immediate family (parent, spouse, child, sibling, and/or "step" family living in the same household) are related to the Promoter, it’s associated agents, or anyone else professionally connected with the competition, unfortunately you are not permitted to enter.
- 3. There is no purchase necessary to enter the competition.
- 4. THE COMPETITION
4.1. The competition opens at 00:01 29th August 2019 and closes at 23:59 on 31st December 2019.
4.2. The prize is a 90-minute training and skills masterclass with FA coaches hosted by Billy and Jez of F2. There are 15 prizes in total to be won.
- 5. HOW TO ENTER

- A parent or guardian must complete the form with the name, age of your child, plus your contact details.
- Your child should tell us in no more than 200 words tell us why they love football, Match Attax and The F2 and why they should win the competition. We are looking for creative entries which are funny or heart-warming.
- Entries will be judged on ‘why you love football/Match Attax and The F2’ (25%), ‘creativity’ (25%), ‘funny or heart-warming’ (25%) and demonstrate ‘why should win the competition’ (25%).
5.1. Any entries that we consider (in our absolute discretion) to be dangerous, vulgar, offensive, indecent, illegal, racist, copied, offensive, cruel or fraudulent, or infringe on the rights or copyright of others will be immediately disqualified.
5.2. Only 1 entry per child. There is a limit of one entry per person to the competition. If you enter more than once your first entry will be accepted and all others will be disqualified. Entries on behalf of another child will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
5.3. You will need Internet access to enter this competition.
5.4. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery or receipt of entry. Incomplete, illegal, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted.
- 6. WINNER SELECTION
6.1. A panel of judges, which includes one judge who is independent to the Promoter, will read all the entries after the closing date. The panel will judge the entries based on the following entry criteria:
- why you love football/Match Attax and The F2 (25%)
- creativity (25%)
- funny or heart-warming (25%)
- Demonstrate why should win the competition (25%).
6.2. Entries cannot be longer than 200 words. A one-digit number counts as one word, a two digit number counts as two words.
6.3. In the event of a tie, the criteria ‘why you love football/Match Attax and the F2 will carry the most weight; in the event of a subsequent tie, the criteria creativity will carry the most weight, and so on.
6.4. Topps reserves the right to withhold a prize place only in the event that no entries, or not enough entries received meet the judging criteria. To be clear, if only 10 entries meet the criteria, only 10 prizes will be awarded.
- 7. THE PRIZE
7.1. There are 15 places available to be won. Each winner must be accompanied by one adult.
7.2. The prize is a 90-minute football training and skills masterclass taught by 4-5 FA coaches and includes food and drink. The masterclass is hosted by Billy and Jez of F2. Winners will meet Billy and Jez and have a photo taken with them. The masterclass will take place in Hertfordshire in August 2020. The exact date of the masterclass is yet to be finalised and will be communicated to prize winners at the point of notification.
7.3. The prize does not include additional food and drink/meals, travel or accommodation, personal expenses or spending money.
7.4. This prize is as stated, it is not transferable and there is no cash alternative in whole or in part.
7.5. The Promoter reserves the right to replace a prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
7.6. The Promoter reserves the right to reschedule the confirmed masterclass date if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
- 8. WINNER NOTIFICATION
8.1. Winners will be notified within 28 days of the closing date via the parent/guardian email details provided at the point of entry.
- 9. PRIZE CLAIM
9.1 The winner’s parent or guardian has 28 days to reply to the winning notification and accept the prize. If you do not respond within the first 14 days, a subsequent email will be sent giving you a further 14 days to respond. If we do not hear from you within the 28-day period, prize entitlement will be withdrawn and awarded to a runner up chosen at the same time as the original winners.
9.2 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the winner, including but not limited to age, name and address and that they are the registered user associated with the winning notification. If the winner is unable to prove identity or cannot qualify the information provided at entry, or where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions prize entitlement will be withdrawn and awarded to a runner up chosen at the same time as the original.
9.3 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility in the event a winner is not able to take their prize.
- 10. Publicity
10.1 You agree that if you are a winner, you will take part in and co-operate fully with reasonable publicity and to the use of your name, photograph and any comments in such publicity without any fee being payable.
- 11. WINNERS’ LIST
11.1 The winners’ surnames, counties and entries will be shared with anyone who requests winners’ details to XYZ within 2 months of the Closing Date but no other information about the winners will be made available.
- 12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
12.1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
12.2. The Promoter, its agents or distributors shall have no responsibility for loss, injury or damage to the visitor, the location or its staff arising in connection with the provision of the Activity or the individual’s participation.
12.3. The Promoter, its agents or distributors disclaim all responsibility for any consequences arising from taking part in the prize. Participants participate at their own risk.
12.4. The training sessions requires a certain level of fitness or ability. If you are suffering from any medical condition or injury, consult your doctor before participating. You may be required to complete a health form.
- 13. DATA PROTECTION
- 14. GENERAL
14.1. The judging panel’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
14.2. Instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion. In the event of a conflict, these terms and conditions take precedence.
14.3. By entering the Promotion, each entrant grants the Promoter a world-wide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty free and sub-licensable right and licence to use reproduce, modify, adapt, publish or display (in whole or in part) any intellectual property contained in the content of their entry, without royalty, payment or other compensation. Each Entrant agrees not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use and warrants that they have full authority to grant such rights
14.4. Entrants acknowledge that other entrants may submit entries that may be similar to their own, and that they will not be entitled to any compensation or right to negotiate with the Promoter over such matters.
14.5. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these terms and conditions or the spirit of the Promotion. Those who try and circumvent the entry process and/or entry instructions by any method, will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
14.6. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties but will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid consumer disappointment.
14.7. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries that are delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
14.8. The competition is promoted across multiple social sites and on Trading Card starter packs but there is only one prize pool.
14.9. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to winner notifications or prizes. The Promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries, including any such failure which is within the control of The Promoter or its agencies.
14.10. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide their correct, up-to-date details when entering the Promotion and/or confirming acceptance of the prize in order for their prize to be processed. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance.
14.11. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries or via third parties or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified.
14.12. If any clause or provision of these terms and conditions is declared by a court to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, this declaration shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other clause or provision within.
14.13. The application and interpretation of these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute concerning them
